I approach wedding photography through a non-traditional style called Wedding Photojournalism. Rather than relying on the weight of posed or directed photography, the wedding photojournalism style involves capturing the moments of your day as they unfold. Similar to the images captured by a photojournalist, wedding photographers balance portraits. Often these unplanned and spontaneous images of emotion are the bride’s and groom’s favorites.

In wedding photojournalism a photographer is not only capturing and tracking the movements of the bride and groom, but they are also documenting the reactions of everyone around. This is especially attractive for me as a photographer, to see an action and a reaction in the same image.
